Leadership

Raymond Consulting was founded and is led by Ray Pennino, MBA. Ray has over 30 years of extensive pharmaceutical and consulting experience including both RX and OTC Brands. Prior to starting Raymond Consulting, Ray was Senior Consultant with Campbell Alliance where he assisted pharmaceutical Brand Teams with complex Brand management issues.

He served as Director of Marketing for New River Pharmaceuticals where he was the first commercial member of this specialty pharmaceutical organization. In this role he led the commercial launch activities of its lead product Vyvanse® and served as commercial liaison with New River's partner Shire Pharmaceuticals. Shire ultimately acquired New River Pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Pennino was Director of Marketing for Fleet Laboratories, where he was responsible for the company's GI franchise. During his tenure with Fleet, Ray grew the GI franchise's lead product Fleet® Phospho-soda® to a market-leading 65% share.

Ray began his career as a pharmaceutical sales representative with Fisons Pharmaceuticals, where he successfully sold asthma and allergy medications to respiratory specialists and primary care physicians. Ray was also an accomplished sales trainer at Fisons, where he trained new and seasoned sales representatives as well as sales managers.

Ray earned his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, and his BS in Business Administration/Marketing from Radford University. Ray also holds a United States Patent for an innovative package design.
